Lion King, SpongeBob, bringing people from the audience, eating cats. Where can you see all of these events in one place? The Flatliners show, with troupe leader Taylor Castillo, a Flatliner since his freshman year. Other Flatliner performers are Clayton Sullivan, Sequan Davison and Carrie Palmer, who had left for a year but rejoined her former Flatliners. Caitlynn Davidson returns, along with Tierra Williams who made her debut September 9.
The business manager is MVC alum Kate Reuter, and Theatre faculty members Wade Hughes and Harold Hynick are the advisers.
About joining the Flatliners, Caitlynn said, “I love improv! And because Wade and Harold thought I would be good enough.”
The MVC Flatliners is an improvisational comedy group of MVC students. The Flatliners show is like the famous television show “Whose Line Is It Anyways?” They perform hilarious skits for the amusement of the MVC students.
The Flatliners will be competing this year at Breadbasket Regional competition in Kansas City on Saturday, February 4. They hoped to compete this year at nationals which will be held February 25 in Chicago.
Caitlynn said, “Stop making TV plans for Thursday nights, because the Flatliners is about to become your new favorite show.”
