The end is near for the vampire romance franchise, with the release of “Twilight: Breaking Dawn, Part 1” on Friday, November 18. One more movie is left to answer the lingering questions about what will prevail for the saga.
The movie is quoted to bring in $104 million its opening weekend alone and is showing in more than 4,000 theaters. The first “Twilight” movie was released back in 2008 and made about $70 million in its first opening weekend and since then the “twi-hards” have been coming back for more, movie after movie.
This movie was more about the love that Edward Cullen (Robert Pattinson) and Bella Swan (Kristen Stewart) share for each other, and the problems they will have to overcome with having a mortal/vampire relationship at first. With Bella becoming pregnant and the supposedly demon baby making her very fragile, not only was it making her ill but there was uncertainty that she would make it through the pregnancy. Jacob and his pack did not like this happening because, not only was it putting a human in danger, but they were scared about what Bella and Edward were bringing into the world. But considering how much Jacob was in love with Bella, he wasn’t going to let anything happen to this baby girl.
The movie was very enjoyable. The ending was very intense and left many of the viewers on the end of their seats wondering what was going to happen next. Not only did the ending make the viewers more excited for the last movie to hit the theaters but it also left everyone who did not read the books with many questions. Many people are unsure when the next movie is coming out. Rumors have it, either this summer or next November. Either way, all the “Twilight” fans are in high anticipation for the last and final movie.
