UPDATE FOR THE FINAL SCORE: The MVC Vikings defeated the Benedictine Ravens 42 to 26. The Vikings have a 6-0 record for the season so far.

The Viking football team was off to a lead against Benedictine at half-time after these photos were taken. It was a wet Homecoming, with a steady drizzle of rain. Viking fans might have watched the game from under umbrellas in the bleachers or could have tuned in to the Viking Sports Network at the college website to watch the live video-streaming of the game.

The Homecoming match-up is a crucial game between two tough teams. Some Vikings were wearing pink in observation of October as Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
