The smell of well-seasoned meat filled the air at MVC as the business club known as SIFE (Students in Free Enterprise) cooked for their fundraiser. The students sold hamburgers, hot dogs, bratwurst, and pulled pork in front of  Baity hall to help fund their organization.

Carnekia Barnett, MVC junior and SIFE member, said, “Doing fundraisers like this helps me to learn the ins-and-outs of business and teaches me skills that I can use after in the business world.”

The SIFE members work together to form an organization in which they all rely on each others skills.

Tetsuji Oya, MVC senior and SIFE member, said, “This organization takes a lot of teamwork. We meet every week  to discuss issues together and learn from each other.”
