Members of the Missouri Valley College football team took to the streets of Marshall Saturday morning to take part in the city’s annual Take Pride In Marshall Litter Pick-Up Day. Nearly 100 Viking football players volunteered and helped out the cause.

Members of the football team and coaching staff helped clean up trash and litter around the Marshall community. This is the seventh year the Viking football team has participated in the event.

“It is a nice event for the guys to be involved in,” said Head Football Coach Paul Troth. “It gets us out into the community to show our support for the people of Marshall who help support our program in the fall.”

The Viking football team will hold their annual Spring Game Sunday, April 28 at 3:00 p.m. at Gregg-Mitchell Field.
