Missouri Valley College freshmen and seniors have the chance to let their voices be heard and win some cash in the process.

Students will be invited to take the National Survey of Student Engagement (NSSE), starting on Tuesday, February 11, when the survey is sent to the e-mails of freshmen and seniors.

There will be weekly cash prize drawings for students who participate. Students have the chance to win $20 or $50 in cash after they complete the survey.

Freshmen and seniors who decide to take the survey will be asked questions about their participation in learning activities, according to information from Marilyn Belwood, director of Institutional Effectiveness and Planning at MVC. The results of the survey are used to help the college be more effective in helping students learn and stay in college

According to information from Belwood, the results from the previous surveys are now online. The NSSE is used by hundreds of colleges and universities. For more information, visit the NSSE website at http://nsse.iub.edu.
