The truck went airborne and hit the ground, overturning and striking a tree before coming to a rest.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Barrow was ejected while the truck was airborne.

The accident occurred on route WW 835 feet east of Kodiak drive. Barrow was transported by lifeflight to Centerpoint Hospital in Independence, Missouri.
