A Professional Clothing Drive and Sale is being hosted by Missouri Valley’s psychology club. The event will sell gently used professional clothing with all items being under ten dollars.

“Our goal is to increase our students’ access to clothes that make them feel professional and contribute to a mindset of success, while also increasing mindfulness of the environment and human cost of producing new clothing,” Dr. Jennifer Livengood, the club’s faculty sponsor, said.

Some students struggle to find professional clothing. This event has the opportunity to help students that are either needing better prices or do not know where to look.

“I think the professional clothing sale will be good for us students,” Sarah Arnett said. “I have struggled to find appropriate professional clothing in the past and this is a great opportunity.”

Donations are accepted up to April 1 in Baity 214. The sale will be on April 9 and 10 from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. in the Ferguson Center Formal Lounge.
