The Missouri Valley Shooting team placed eleventh overall in ACUI Collegiate National Championship in the Division II competition after competing in six disciplines in San Antonio, Texas on March 25th.
The team was able to bring the most students to the National event than ever before and had several contributors throughout the events.
“We definitely did better than we ever have done before as a team which was great,” said senior Kimmie Browne.
With a great season this year, the shooting team is now looking forward and preparing for the upcoming year.
“I am continuing to practice each discipline,” said sophomore Josie Stuver. “Next season is looking pretty good, we have eleven recruits so far.”
The team only had three seniors this year and carried many underclassmen on the roster.
“While there are seniors graduating we are returning depth as well as incoming students,” said Coach Reba Kensley.
