MVC has announced Tommy Martin as the new head bowling coach. Martin was a coach at the high school level for 17 years.
“I am excited to coach at this level, coaching is coaching but to be able to push a team to win a championship is special,” Martin said.

Bowler Jayden Briggs is looking forward to having a champion for a coach.

Bowler Nicholas Miles said he sees a lot of new opportunities opening up for the team.
“Personally I am ecstatic and optimistic that under his leadership this following year will see results surpassing those of any years prior,” he said.
Coach Martin wants to up practices to 2-4 times a week. They are also looking at getting a new ball deal with the Brunswick Corporation.
Bowler Natalie Briggs is also excited about the changes coming,
“Coach talked about trying to find an alley that won’t damage our balls,” she said. “That will be so nice to have.”
Coach Martin said his main focus is to get more people on the team. He is starting to figure out recruiting and is excited for the season ahead.
