Excitement is building around Missouri Valley College as discussions about the possibility of bringing Chick-fil-A to the College. While no official timeline or details have been confirmed, updates are promised as the process unfolds, fueling enthusiasm among students and staff alike.

Dr. Terry Russell, Vice President for Student Affairs shared that while discussions about Chick-fil-A coming to the college are ongoing, there are no firm answers just yet. However, he expressed optimism.

“Our hope is that it will happen,” he said. “I promise to keep you updated as the process moves along.”

With the closest Chick-fil-A currently an hour away, bringing one to campus would improve dining options for the college community and introduce more variety to campus life. Chick-fil-A’s famous crispy chicken sandwiches, waffle fries, and signature service would fill a spot near the college and offer a convenient and popular dining choice.

Steve Miles, a Valley student who eats Chick-fil-A about twice a month, shared his excitement at the possibility of a local restaurant. Miles believes the addition of Chick-fil-A would benefit the college, citing its delicious crispy chicken sandwich, the lack of fast-food options near campus, and its potential to boost college funds.

“I’d probably go 3-4 times a week if it were here,” he added.

Kylan Wallace, another MVC student, shared a slightly different perspective on this. While he enjoys Chick-fil-A occasionally, he said that some people already get Chick-fil-A from food trucks, while others do not.

Wallace anticipates that he would visit Chick-fil-A about twice a week if it were available near campus.
