Missouri Valley College’s eSports team has a historic season in the making. They are the Heart Athletic Conference Champions in Rocket League. Wins over Central Methodist and St-Ambrose made them the champions.

The Vikings had some star players that led them to this championship. One being Dominic Hoskin (Squirrel). Dominic was named Heart Player of the Year and made the 1st team all conference for Rocket League. Another star is Colton Herrin (Spade). Colton was named 2nd team all conference.

The Championship was held in Parkville, where Central Methodist, St-Ambrose and Missouri Valley all met and fought for the title. The Vikings finished their season with a 7-0 record and are excited for the next season to come.

The Vikings will have a lot of key returners such as both all conference players and only 6 seniors will be graduating. The Vikings will be looking to repeat this in the next few years with all their talent returning.

The eSports team plays a total of 4 different games throughout their season. With Valorant, Apex Legends, Rocket League, CounterStrike 2. These players can earn their scholarships and consider eSports a sport. The more skilled players receive the most scholarships.

The Vikings eSports building is located across the street from the Ferguson Center on the west side of campus. This is where they train for their tournaments and prepare to win.
