Are you a Senior? Are you graduating this spring? If so, you might need to see where you are in your graduation process.
Commencement this year is May 10 at Gregg Mitchell Field.
If you are graduating this Spring, then you will need to pick up your name card at the Registrar’s office when you pick up your cap and gown. The name card will need to be completed when you walk across the stage to hand to the reader at commencement.
Cap and Gowns are available for pickup April 22, in the registrar’s office. And before graduation on graduation day for those that aren’t in Marshall until graduation day.
To have honors for graduation, you will need a 3.5 GPA, you need to put “with honors” on your name card if this applies to you. The official academic honors are Cum laude, Magna Cum Laude, Summa Cum Laude.
A professional photographer will be in attendance to take photos as students walk across the stage. Remember to take the diploma cover with your left hand and shake Dr. Parisi’s hand with your right hand and pose for the camera.
You will have to pay a fee of $100 ($120 for Graduate Students) before graduation day.
There is not a limit of guests you can invite, but it is first come first serve for seating. Extra bleachers are brought in so seating usually isn’t an issue. The ceremony will also be broadcasted in the Malcolm Center’s Bacon Room.
