MVC Mark your calendars for Saturday, April 19th, as Missouri Valley College gets ready to host a spectacular Easter Bash!

Sponsored by the Bridge Collegiate Ministry, this event promises to bring the MVC community together for a day of fun, food and celebration.

“I do participate in Easter,” said MVC student Zac Williamson. “I’ll probably go to it Saturday. It sounds fun.”

Jaden Lambert, another student who goes to MVC, is also a fan of the holiday.

“I love Easter,” Lambert said. “The best part is why it’s celebrated, collecting eggs, and watching everyone have a good time together; there’s so much excitement around it.”

It all kicks off at noon on the quad in front of Young Hall, featuring a cookout, games and an open invitation for everyone to join the festivities.

James Rowlett, Director of Student Activities, shared details about the event, emphasizing that it’ll make lots of connections among students, families, and mentors.

Families from the Adopt A Viking program will also be attending, bringing side dishes to add to the lunch spread.

“This event promises to bring the MVC community together,” Rowlett said.
