Missouri Valley College will host an open forum on Supplemental Instruction at 3:15 p.m. on April 23 in the Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning, located on the first floor of Murrell Library. The event is open to students, faculty, and staff.
The session will explore the growing role of Supplemental Instruction in student success. The program offers peer-led academic support through collaborative study sessions designed to help students better understand course material, develop study strategies, and improve overall performance.
“Students gain job opportunities, and instructors can learn how Supplemental Instruction benefits their classes,” said Samantha Perkins, Assistant Dean of Library & Academic Support Services. “With this event, students can grow their academic leadership skills.”
The forum offers a chance to learn more about the program, ask questions, and share feedback. Whether you’ve participated before or are hearing about it for the first time, the event is open to all interested in strengthening academic support at MVC.
