Members of the Missouri Valley College campus community got to experience a taste of fall at the Malcolm Center bistro this week.
A coffee tasting Wednesday provided samples of Pumpkin Oat Chai and Smores Bar, new additions to the bistro’s menu.
Martin Porter, director of student engagement and client relations. was in charge of the event. He said staff decided to do the coffee tasting for students and faculty to try new fall flavors that will be available next week. They are just waiting for the oat milk to arrive.
Both coffee options can be served hot and cold.
“Drink until your heart and belly are content,” Porter said.
Ashlynn Floyd, one of the students who went into the coffee tasting, said she enjoyed the tasting and hoped for the college to have more tastings for everyone to try. She believes that by having the tastings it is one way to get the campus involved in what’s happening around the school.
“The Smores Bar was so good,” Floyd said. “I could drink this all day.”
