Black Student Union’s ‘Cookies & Kahoot’

By Shu’Ron Thompson

For black history month, The Black Student Union organization at Missouri Valley College is hosting events every Monday of the month of February.

To kick off black history month, BSU hosted an event called Cookies and Kahoot. Students got the chance to test their black history and cultural knowledge while they enjoyed cookies made by Black Student Union members and prepackaged cookies from Walmart. There were chocolate chip cookies, sugar cookies, and Reese’s peanut butter, along with Oreos and Nutter-butters.

Students played three Kahoots in total and the first place winner of each Kahoot received a goodie bag made by Powerhouse Ministry. Each goodie bag contained various prizes such as hats, face masks, painting supplies and much more.
